2. Academic Excellence: Undergraduates typically need excellent high school credentials with a strong emphasis on mathematics and sciences. 

3. Language Competence: English-taught programs strictly mandate an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, a TOEFL iBT score of 80+, or an equivalent recognized certificate. Programs taught in Mandarin strictly require HSK Level 4 or Level 5 (180+) depending on the specific program. 

4. CSCA / Entrance Examination: For undergraduate applicants aiming to enroll from the 2026/2027 intake onwards, passing the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) is a mandatory requirement. This standardized entrance exam evaluates foundational academic readiness specifically in Mathematics (compulsory), alongside optional Physics and Chemistry papers.
